| O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | Took an intro to psych course and the teacher told us a method for controlling your dreams. Don't know if it works since I very rarely remember them and then it's only that last dream just before I wake up. (You actually dream for a half hour at a time spread out over the whole night, aternating betweeen deep sleep and REM sleep.) You start by getting as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Concentrate on your breating feeling every slow breath go in and out. Then, start day-dreaming about what you want to dream about. Eventually, you fall asleep and your mind will continue the day-dream into your real dreams. Like I said, I have no idea if this works because I don't remember my dreams.  I wonder how many people actually read the text people put under their sig pics. | ||||

And I thought we ALL only dreamed in black and white....we impose color only in our memories of the dream. Maybe you've got some research there on that, Gonzo. And Jenni- in your psych classes, did you ever do that dream experiment where they wrote: HIJKLMNO on the board, told you to keep a dream journal for the next week and that you would solve that puzzle through your dream?
