| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I've been listening to DMB for about 6 years now....though there are bigger, more committed fans than me I definitely consider myself pretty dedicated. I've seen them in concert every year since then, at least 2x if possible. The last time was 3 months ago, at Jazzfest in New Orleans...the atmosphere at his shows is awesome;relaxed, everybody is just mellow and in for a good time. The jam sessions they sometimes do can last for h alf an hour or more..but it's cool. His music is definitely an acquired taste...someone listening for the first time probably won't like it, but his songs grow on you. Out of all the lame bullshit music out there today, I definitely consider them among the top in talent and staying power... Check out fred "chillin" at the playboy mansion with that hadcore gangsta carson daly. I'm surprised wes borland hasn't hung himself in embarrassment yet. that band has no chance to advance musically with that putz as their frontman. Yankees Rule | ||||
