| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | I'm almost finished writing this for RonFez.Net Basically its a tool that automatically bans the user after 3 strikes. The mod can enter a reason for each strike recieved, which is recorded and can be used in case the user requests a reason why he was banned. Also, the people I ban know the reason for their bannin, and if they don't. then that's more of a reason they shouldn't be allowed to post. How 'bout an IP Banning Tool? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I cna't do an automatic ban on IP addresses, but I can do an alert system whenever a flagged IP address appears on the site... However...bear in mind most ISP's share IP addresses amongst thier dial up customers, including but not limited to AOL, CompuServe, Prodigy, AT&T Dial Up and Earthlink. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I just wanted a way for peopel to keep track of who has been banned, the events that lead up to that banning, who banned them, and who unbanned them. We have so many debates over this in BTS, I felt the need was there. As for the automatic IP tool, everytime the flagged IP address appears on the site, it will be recorded with a date and time stamp. I can even have an email sent to you everytime it does.
