| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01  | It's obvious that the adoption agency has been heading downhill for quite a while now. Unfortunately what once started as a public service has turned into a status symbol. I've decided to close it down as of next Friday. I am unsure of whether the idea will be completely scrapped or renovated. For now I will put it on hiatus, though I am open to suggestions.  I believe in the Faith... that can save me. I believe in the hope and I pray... That someday it may raise me... above these badlands | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01 | Assuming that is what we do, I want you to realize that all the mods would thus have to be more tolerant and available to newbies, even if it means repeated the same answers to the same senseless questions that you've already gone over a thousand times. And yes, some people are poor adopters, but then again some have had considerable success, that's the only reason I've let it go on this long. I believe in the Faith... that can save me. Maybe have an extra header next to FAQ that reads "Newbie Advice" or change FAQ to say that. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | All sounds good and Moron it has been duly noted in the archives :) I just think we need an official thread to go along with the FAQ home page. Maybe put a link in there for the official thread where they can receive help for making/hosting/posting sigs etc.. Either way, they are going to receive the help, whether it was solicited or not. If they can get the help in a central place, it may help with cluttering up threads with "how do I do this or that" which ultimately will turn into fights, along with the slight possibility that the same questions won't have to be answered over and over. quote: It can only help with our tolerance level, if only a little.
