| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00  | Just a question I've been asked in AIM about her from an unnamed source...Is her sig quotes that direct people to her website considered spamming or not. Now from what this person told me, the think she is a huge attention whore, which in my mind is reason to keep her around, but people are questioning whether she is spamming or not, 4 to 5 people in fact. Just wanted a clarification on this:) btw check the site out. LOL;) I don't have a heart of gold and I don't grow one later, OK? But relax. There's other people a lot nicer coming up -- we call them losers. | ||||

But she plugs her site a lot from what I see and as far as an attention whore, well from what I see that she is. But she is also getting people to reply to her posts no matter how inane they are. So if some people like that hey we should just talk to her and tell her to calm down on the plugging of her site. But hey everyone here has different tastes in what they reply to and she is contributing either way. She just needs to learn our ways here is all, I mean for christ sakes she thought Mavric was a mod here and changed her status. Shit I do have to admit it made me laugh when she said it though. The bigger one is that people are going to non-mods and asking them whether or not people should be banned. Now if they came to us mods it would be one thing, but they are going to others and questioning board policy. Thats not good. Maybe I'm overreacting but that was my first gut-feeling on the subject when this person told me this. I don't have a heart of gold and I don't grow one later, OK? But relax. But the members can't do that, so they talk about it amongst themselves. Plus the fear of getting flamed for posting something questioning board policy doesn't allow them to do anything but go to eachother on that. How many backseat mods have we seen here? dozens how many people say "hey shrink your sig" or "shut up or a mod will ban you", "get adopted" etc etc. Plus people always have and always will question the board policy, should they come to us? Hell yeah they should but some of them are afraid of consequence if they do. It's a no win battle on that one man. And while I have your attention, there aren't to be an links put into statuses. I know I spoke to Slash & Gooch about that a while ago. If I get a chance this afternoon or tonight I will ask her to make a point to not plug her site in her posts.  I believe in the Faith... that can save me. I believe in the hope and I pray...
