| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01  | Shit, I think the last time I did this, I was still able to start a poll for voting... Ok, you wanted to have some discussion about who gets moderated... My first choice is Seph. I know some of you have actually already come to me praising his qualities and remarking on what a good mod he would make. I honestly couldn't agree more. He understands the board, he's intelligent, provacative, and he's full of ideas. My second choice behind Seph is Flock. His loyalty is unquestioned, he can be trusted, he doesn't play the rumor game, and other than threatening to kick Kid's ass, he's been a model poster. Beyond that there are no real standouts. There are veteran posters like Grumpy, Mashed, or even Sluggo (insert your own Moron joke), but I think they could use some more presence and impact, or in Sluggo's case a little more time.  I believe in the Faith... that can save me. I believe in the hope and I pray... That someday it may raise me... above these badlands | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00 | I like seph as a mod. He knows what he's doing on the board and he's also very computer savvy, which can only help us all back here. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and he is a good guy to talk to off the board in ims and have some fun with. All in all he is a good choice for mod. I don't have a heart of gold and I don't grow one later, OK? But relax. There's other people a lot nicer coming up -- we call them losers. | ||||

If I was starting a site, and I had to choose a mod, which I was, Seph is it bar none. He understands what this place is about and what it was about and my only fault in him is the fuckin sigs he does. Flock is great too, but, with the kid shit storm, it would look a tad like you made him just on that merit alone. Yes I know it is bullshit, but, that is the mentality of alot of people around here. TFEC and Kid are my 2 runner ups ;) Flock... umm.. threatening physical violence over a post, and having a self serving, left handed (or back handed whatever it is called... please someone let me know which one it is. Thanks :)) apology is questionable in the least. I mean it WAS directed at Kid that if he had to go at it with him, he would be victorious, or something to that effect. But definitely Seph is a nod from me.. then again.. maybe it's just because i Am seph.. hmmm... I have to agree on Flock... he's a good second choice, he's definitely got the board loyalty factor going.. and I've seen some rather intelligent posts from him when things start to get rowdy (usually hidden in an odd forum) but I'ld have to also suggest Slackjaw as a final alternative.. he definitely GETS the board and can take a joke, and I think he understands how things are SUPPOSSED to work.. Ok, that being said... My first choice would probably be Sephiroth (unless anyone can sway my vote elsewhere) But, I'd also like to mention Chuck from SU. I've been in contact with alot of the SU guys & most all of them are very cool, but Chuck has done so much for people. I think it would be a wise choice (and a nice jesture to the SU board in general) to consider making one of the Founders of SU the Mod of that forum. Who knows, maybe it'll drag a few of them out to the rest of the board. My final nominee (so to speak) would be Spitfire. She's a well liked member who's almost always on during the day...and even sometimes at night. She's proved (at least to me) that she can take a joke as well as dish one out. Plus, I think we could use another chick around here...I'm sick of seeing all you tools fawn all over VG for attention...  | ||||

Flock is a good guy, loyal and all, but I think no one can question Seph's love for the board - he starts the stupidest posts known to man, but hey, it's usually funny stuff, and it's only to get a rise out of the board. He wants to see it succeed - don't we all? He also spends an ungodly amount of time on the board. :) Another choice no one's thought of yet - Maynard. Something to think about maybe, but I'd still pick Seph first. Grumpy - Grumpy's a vet, has clamed down alot, and I think could be a good mod 4. Sluggo - He's a natural 5. Spitfire - If VG can handle the competition =) 6. Maynard - Guy actually gives a shit 7. Slackjaw - Nice diposition and sense of humor, a good fit, but needs more time Honorable Mentions: Mashed - but till he is on board more, no way. Kid - sometimes the very thing to do is put him at stake and at a point of responsibility, but since his last two fiascos, he has no shown any grace, tact, nor couth. The day he gets humble, maybe the only day he'll deserve it.  Here's a tip that will save you alot of grief and time... Don't believe in and depend on anyone but yourself. | ||||

Flock and Grumpy are both in the same boat for me, they at times get a bit over-emtional in their decisions especially grumpy. Plus with the kid he doesn't have the time anyway. Flock hurt himself in my eyes, I understand what happened but it doesn't excuse what happened, he needs more time. Spitfire would make a great choice in my book, she is very smart and has a lot of character and is well known and liked. Sluggo - I don't know him that well but he seems ok, I would think he needs a bit more time though. Maynard does deserve it in my opinion but he is also another who needs some more time. He has only recently really changed and come into his own. Slackjaw - I trully love the guy but I am not sure. Mashed deserves it without a doubt the guy is great and he is not swayed by any bullshit, plus he has managed to be very well known yet not get involved in anything.
