| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00  | i was just wondering about the banned but still being able to post issue that came up a couple of weeks ago. is there anything we can do to solve it? what im talking about is the fact that when you ban someone they can still post until they are logged out. is it feasible that when we ban them, to change their password, log into their account and log them off? or is that going over the top. im asking becaause we have a poster who seemingly joins up once a day now to just cause shit.[under the name howdypartner aka. Pimp Daddy, aka. who'syourdaddy] and this morning after i banned him after 1 post, he was able to post 3 more times. just wondered if there is something we can do about that, not that its a major issue, its more of an annoyance that you say your banned to someone and then they still post. any feedback would be apprectiated This time I'm 'a stand up and shout I'm 'a do things my way It's my way My way, or the highway | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | i had same problem with another poster who was banned, but still posting, so i merely kept refreshing a search and deleted anything he posted until the halfhour login time was done. It would be nice to also be able to ban IP's as well, so they just don't relog in under another name. We definately need more tools at our disposal to kick them out of system, and ban there IP completely. "Oh a false clock tries to tick out my time - To disgrace, distract, and bother me. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Aug. 00 | Being able to ban their IP was a nice tool to use in the past. I'm not sure if we should log in as them and change their password to log them out. That sounds like work? Froy doesn't pay us enough to do that..lol. but seriously. I think there should be something to help combat people being able to post after being banned... But, as an example of why we need it.. as I write this our newest member is "StalkerHarry" The name aroused some suspicion so I checked the IP addy, and wouldn't you know, it's Raven's old buddy nightmare. Allready banned him but with all the names under that IP I think being able to block his IP period would save some trouble.  NO! I am NOT a Goth Dude!!
