And on another note, if you guys want to step up and show some force, go into the sig battle in FC. Seems Skank and Seph are having fun with corpse's sig. Now, that shit needs to stop before the end of the week if we get the influx of shiutheads! I am not saying that we all have to be a mean fuck like me. I forced Broken Jaw to remove the shit in his sig about Froy and Corpse because at this point, too many peeps think cuz they know us, they have the right to fuck with us! It just isn't fair to ban someone for something we laughed with them about one day and find a bannable offense the next. 4. About the "Wack" thread, that shit Mavric was a non stop bitchfest in Chat the other night, I booted him about 50 times, claims that Froy said he is more than welcomed in Chat, I told him to go to Wackbags Voice Chat... Oh, I wasn't going to give anymore exposure to that thread by Mav/Wack but this goes out to my 2 pals Face and Sean, someone very dear to me told me I have gotten funnier since my humble beginnings on the board, so there :P  Funny how ev'rything was roses When we held on to the guns Write To Me Here Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable? Since when should we become "elitist"? I went to parties well before I became a mod and if it wasn't for the fact that they suck, I would continue to. I have had one problem with the respect issue and she is no longer aropund here! Shit, because we are mods, we should be like the computer geeks and losers that Pink Nips claims we are? That is just fuckin insane! Now I respect the fact that you don't come out for the reasons you don't but don't think for one fuckin second that it is your god given right to look down on me because I meet the people I exchange convos with. I have nothing to hide from and I will not start to because of this fuckin place. I have never been one to show favoritism towards any of the fuckin regulars at all. I told him to drop it, b/c it's pointless. Obviously he doesn't listen. Freakin moron. As for letting people know we can't do much, it's woulnd't be such an issue if someone fuckin fixed it. Though I agree Raven shouldn't have mentioned it, if it puts a fire under someone to get it done...so be it. This problem and the fact that it's been a problem all week has to be one of the most pathetic things I've seen since I signed on here. Would this prob be there if Foundry mods had the problem in their chat or on their site?This problem has not been addressed, nor have we been given a window of when it can be solved...and that in business is just asking for trouble, b/c it makes me feel that some people don't care or don't care to fill us in. Sean, my post was not aimed at you are any mods in particular, it was aimed at the perceptions of the members of the board... those like Tequila, Brokenjaw etc.. who think they are "IN" cause they met and hung out with a mod or 2. No more, no less. Thank you for respecting my reasons for not going to parties as I respect your decisions to go, but that is not what I was getting at. I just don't know the level of friendships mods have with the members of the board, and how far they are allowed to take joking with those mods... I only wanted some guidelines from Froy. Tequila's "FU to Magus the cum guzzler or some shit", Brokenjaws "Corpse is an asshole, and Froy is this or that"... all of these stayed on the board for quite some time until you made Brokenjaw remove his sig quote. Magus left up the Tequila post, Corpse and Froy didnt have tequila remove his sig quote... How am I supposed to know what action to take? The preceding question is meant for Froy to come up with "black and white" guidelines for the mods, so it isnt a clouded issue of second guessing on the course of action we need to take. If a mod decides to give lee-way to one person or another because of their personal relationship, that is fine, so long as their offsenses do not continue. Bannings always have been and always will be a last resort. This applies to both friends and foes alike. Nobody is incapable of receiving a strike or banning. I don't condone favortism, but I do support personal loyalty, there is a difference. And about our little friend Wack, I have not spoken to him at all, nor do I intend to. I have not given him an open invite into chat, I don't care what he says. Lastly, when these mod-problems arise concerning server-glitches, coding problems, hackings, or any other snag, they are to be kept quiet. There is no reason that anybody outside of BTS should know that it is anything other than business as usual. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | All right. Let me speak up. As far as the F-U Magus thing... I didn't touch it because I want to keep a distinct differrence between myself and my duties as a mod. Attacking me, or making jokes about me, is in my opinion NOT the same as attacking my job or how I do it. PLUS I'm sure we all want to avoid the whole Upuauat situation, where everyone is afraid to talk to mods because they might be misinterpreted as attacking them. I DID however make it fairly clear to Tequila in that thread that just because I had hung out with him doesn't grant him ANY immunity. As far as information leaks.. when my account got screwed up and I registered "Magus" a lot of people came at me to warn me, I told them I was having problems with my account and that I was testing to see if it was the whole board or just me. I haven't seen Raven's post yet, I agree it shouldn't have been done, but I can also understand his frustration. I myself was getting worried that Jeff hadn't been able to attend to the problem when we hadn't heard from him (no offense Jeff) As far as banned is banned... Other than a possible second chance I agree whole-heartedly with that statement. The only reason I had not banned crankyass AKA FoundryMusicAntD is because my problem with him arose prior to my being appointed a mod, and I didn't want to appear to hold grudges.. believe me, I HAVE been waiting for him to mess up, and he's pushing the line a bit lately. As far as Mavrick in chat... I banned his IP.. if he's reaccessing chat Ban it again. He repeatedly refused to heed my warnings when he and Gonzo started going at each other one night in chat. Now, being that Gonzo IS a chat mod, if he and Mavrick have a problem with each other I felt it fell on Mavrick to step away. I booted him repeatedly, but he continued logging in and disrupting the chat by arguing and baiting Gonzo..I warned him if he continued I would block him for good, so that's why I banned his IP. I don't remember if there were other issues I meant to address, but I took my time writing this so I forgot. That's my input at the moment.  No! I am NOT a Goth Dude!! "Good? Bad? I agree with ya all that the member stuff about us must be stoped, But like slash said -- if it is there and the person in question let it be what do we do? Well I guess from now on we know don't we. -- we won't leave it for the Mod in question to delete. We will do it ASAP. As for Cranky -- he was a deek long ago in the Wrestling part of the board and insted of banning i tried to talk to him 1st -- he agreed to tone down and did -- if he is acting up again -- try to speak to him, if that is not to much troble to do. I think Froy has said that Banning should be a last resort now. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Sean...no offense taken.. I've always said I'm a pussy. However there is a distinct diferrence between being a pussy and having integrity. I CHOSE not to ban crankyass when I became a mod because MY gripe with him was personal, and I assumed that you all who HAD banned his other accounts knew who he was and decided to leave him be, and who was I to second guess that decision. Granted, my assumption had no basis in ANYTHING said to me by the rest of you, but I was the new guy and didn't want to be petty. At NO POINT did I claim second chances were a rule to abide by.. maybe my phrasing didn't come across the way I meant. What I was TRYING to say was that the extent of ANY leeway we might even consider giving people is a second chance, IF WE EVEN GIVE THEM THAT. And I was not speaking for myself, personally I feel if I ban someone that's it, game over, no continues...but I don't know what everyone else's opinion on the matter is. Case in point, amets31, aka Drudge Jr.. was banned as amets and has been posting as Jr. I did not give him this second chance nor would I have if I had been the one who banned him, my point is that someone obviously decided to let him try again, but if he f's up this time around then in no way whatsoever should he be allowed to post again, ever, period. As far as Raven is concerned.. I went and checked the FU board, and unless the post you're referring to was edited or deleted Sean, what I read doesn't say anything about US being powerless, just his account being f'ed up and not getting fixed. Now, as I said, IF he posted that we were powerless than I wholeheartedly agree something should be done, but I honestly don't see that in his post. Maybe I'm missing it, maybe it got removed but I just don't see how complaining about one account being screwed up indicates that all the mods are powerless. If I am missing something by all means, point me to it. And as far "Understanding his frustration".. try to remember that understanding WHY someone does something is not the same as approving of them doing it. Now... I want to make it very clear that I am not trying to pick a fight with anyone, nor am I attempting to pussy out. I am simply trying to explain my opinions on the various situations currently being discussed. I have not nor will I take offense at someone disagreeing with me back here..and I would hope the rest of you would do the same for me..that's why we have this forum. As for help I went to Froy (before and after and Gooch when they were on after i tried to reach jeff. Froy told me he was busy after my post was already done, so i said nothing else in that post. Again i never said to anyone that anyone other than me was have'n problems. Never said anything about any other mod or the site -- just my account and jeff was the only one who could fix it. and in the end even he could not help. did anyone notice my name stoped bounce'n -- when GS's did i asked him if there was anything i could do -- did anyone ask me what was wrong with my account? as for cranky -- he and i talked as this board came online and worked stuff out -- that does not mean he has a pass or anything -- just stated the fact i knew about him. I banned one of his other names when he and i talked and told him to keep it in the one name everyone knew already. If he crossed up -- than his loss. now about 3 things that i consider high on my list. 1. loyalty -- don't question my loyalty to the board or to the mods -- I back you all up 100% even if i don't agree with the point. we need to be one or the posters will try to much shit. 2. Friendship -- if my post cost you so much time that a friendship is beyond repair, well there is nothing i can say to fix that. I said that I still consider you my "DAWG" and if you don't then tell me so i can move on. If that is how you feel than so be it, i can't change the way you feel, but i would rather know this than have a fake friendship. I have no problems with you, if did you would know. I try to be upfront with everyone - cause this is how i want to be treated. I'll leave the ball in your court, and you can conatct me other than here if ya want cause i don't like to air my stuff on a board. 3.
