Also, look into getting adopted just to help you out with the other board members. EDIT: In defense of this newbie, i think they meant "topic" not "board". I could be wrong though. O&A are no longer just a NY show and to trash or belittle people from other cities will only hurt the show in the long run . Don't get me wrong this place is great right now but has alot more promise if it relaxes it's rules and newbie trashing a bit . | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | have to argue with ya snowball, the adoption thing was set up, specifically to try to end the newbie bashing. nobody is here to attack newbies, well, if they are, they're in the wrong place. the problem arises when people new to the board make mistakes, like posting in the wrong place or duplicating posts. then, so many people have heard that there's newbie bashing that they come here already in defense mode and take any helpful sugestions as an attack. anyway, the adoption thing helps newbies get used to the way the board works, thus then, attempting to limit the stupid posts and helping everyone to get along better. ok, i think that covers it... oh, and welcome aboard bub :)  An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come. --Victor Hugo regardless of my status, i am a nice person. no really, i am, i swear;) crack hitler belongs to me :) need me? try: crxgirl@opieanthony.com red rocket is under my supervision until 8/27 | ||||

All it really takes is for new people to read the FAQ and look at other posts before posting . I guess some people are just lazy or don't care about the rules or the fact that bandwidth costs money. | ||||
