| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | Bin Laden denies involvement in attacks September 16, 2001 Posted: 2:34 PM EDT (1834 GMT) DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) -- Osama bin Laden, the prime suspect behind last week's airborne strikes on the United States, issued a statement Sunday denying that he was involved. "I stress that I have not carried out this act, which appears to have been carried out by individuals with their own motivation," said the statement, broadcast by Qatar's Al-Jazeera satellite channel. In the statement, read out by an Al-Jazeera announcer, bin Laden said that he was used to the United States accusing him every time "its many enemies strike at it." Bin Laden, a Saudi exile who has lived in Afghanistan since 1996, has said on at least one other occasion that he wasn't behind the attacks. Bin Laden said he "thanked almighty Allah and bowed before him when he heard this news." Bin Laden has often granted interviews to Al-Jazeera, known in the Arab world for its wide reach and its independent and aggressive editorial policies. He also gives Al-Jazeera videos when he has a message to relay to the world, such as a tape early this year in which he was shown reciting an ode to Jerusalem and decrying Israel's presence in the city, which is holy to Jews, Christians and Muslims. In Sunday's statement, which was signed "Sheik Osama bin Laden," bin Laden said that he had pledged to the leader of Afghanistan, Mullah Mohammed Omar, to abide by the country's laws, and Omar "doesn't allow those types of acts." As strange as it seems, the one thing that I've always read about him is that he's an incredibly honest person. He is a sick twisted fuck who has no qualms about murdering civilians and blowing up churches, but for some reason he cannot tell a lie. He should, however be killed anyway becuase he admitted to having a hand in the first WTC bombing as well as the bombings in Saudi Arabia. Whether or not he had anything to do with this attack, he should be extinguished. I just hope that the country doesn't stop looking for any other terrorists after we get him, becuase he's not the only one out there. | ||||

Even if by some miracle he had nothing to do with this particular incident, he has attacked us in the past and actively plans attacks for the future. He needs to be killed.
