| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Aug. 01  | After much thought I've decided to post this for the board to play with. The idea behind this thread is pretty simple. What if OA.com was adapted into a feature film? All of our members are the actors/stars of the movie, and it's your job to write the script, adding in dialogue, plot, scene changes, etc. where you find necessary. Remember, every great movie has action, drama, murder, comedy, violence, twists and turns and, most importantly, gratuitous sex! I'm not going to start the script in the hopes that you will get it up and running on your own. Realize that this is your chance to take all the board drama that has happened in the past and incorporate it into an amusing script. Try and add as many members as you can, because the more personalities in the movie the better. It's your time to shine people and.....ACTION!!! | ||||

If it's an OA.com series I guess I'd be the recurring character, the one in the background who occasionally appears in like a couple of episodes each season with the potential of becoming a regular. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Scene 1: We open with a panoramic view of a paltial mansion in a neighborhood with streets paved of 24k gold. (hey, it's a movie, lighten up :) ). We zoom in to a bedroom of a young man with a 120" television, five network servers each running a different website, and one more server fresh out of the box with nothing to do. In walks our young hero, his golden locks shining. He sees his new toy and his twelve year old heart begins to flutter as he lets out a toothy grin. :) Well, young master Froy ponders what plans he may devise for his yet unborn website as he listens to the radio. He chuckles as the hosts of this radio show convince a young lady that disrobing in their studio will indeed help feed starving children in Bosnia. Then it hits him.... "A message board! We will discuss the finer points of boobs and tooling on our friends. I will call it opieandanthony.com, in honor of my new favorite show!"...... fade out Fade in.... somber music plays as our hero discovers that the name he has chosen for his website has been taken..... by a Stern fan no less! Panic overcomes Froy, in a desperate cry for help he calls his friend "Vin" "Vin, what am I gonna do man?" "Uh, how about you try it without the 'and'?" "Holy cow! You are the best vin!" Triumphant music blares as "opieanthony.com" is born...... fade out  Currently newbieless...unbelieveable! | ||||

I think the next few scenes need to be written by some of the vets, since they have first-hand experience of what it was really like to be a part of what we now all know and love to be OA.com.
