| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | Ok for those of you that don't know they take a body of an adult shrink it change some other stuff and put a child's head on there. It looks like real children having sex but it's not. Here's where the problem comes in the police have a tough time finding out what porn is real and what is fake. So defendants will always say it was fake. I feel that if it is fake that it is ok since it is not infringing on civil liberties of a child, etc. But it also raises several other problems such as is it right to put a child's head on another body conducting sexual activities(well of course not)? And should we stop kiddie porn altogether no matter if no one was hurt or not in the process of the making of the material? Oh and I'm expecting 4376594704574879843786975 gonzo jokes in this thread. | Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | kind of a tough question. I think that the burden of proof should be on the defendent to show that the alleged "kiddie porn" is fake. If they cannot provide ample evidence that the material has been doctored, than they should be convicted of producing child pornography. the internet is unstoppable. there is no way for the government to control its contents, legal or not. if an end-users are willing to put up enough money to the point where fake or real child pornography is profitable, than it will continue. some of these folks will be caught, some will not. Is anyone else uncomfortable w/ all the new rights the federal and local law enforcement agencies have regarding monitering the internet? Just because its in the name of "security" and is looking to check up on "terrorists" does that make it right. If I go to a message board or email friends to discuss and plan an anti-war rally, should the government have the right to read my e-mails, to search my home?
