| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01  | As many of you have seen, Kid was banned last night, yet most people are unclear as to why. I feel the need to clear this up. There was a disagreement between Kid & a certain moderator last night, and because of their differing opinions, said moderator banned Kid. It has always been my policy and that of this board not to ban people based on differing views or opinions, no matter how personal or opposing they may be, so long as they are not contrary to board policy & ettiquette. I have thus over-ridden the decision and personally reinstated Kid's account.  I believe in the Faith... that can save me. I believe in the hope and I pray... That someday it may raise me... above these badlands | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | Fairness is something we have always strived on here and I respect froy's decision and especially him posting an explanation. In the heat of passion people tend to lose sight of what is right and wrong and this was just an unfortunate thing and which has been resolved. No one's perfect neither the mod in question nor that screwy k1d character. But hopefully decisions like this will show that fairness is something we do care about. I'm Deep Inside Your Children. Yes, their are a lot of tools that just come on here to fuck around and say shit about O&A. Those people don't belong here. I read what Kid said and even though he is a prick much of the time and ruins people's serious threads he did nothing to constitute banning from the board. You should be able to express opinions on this board whatever they maybe . I even have no problems if Stern fans come over here as long as they are not here to disrupt the board.  | ||||

If anything, it's Kid's banishment. Also, by using the "&" symbol between "banning" and "board policy," as opposed to using a comma and spelling the word "and," you've linked the two subjects as if they both belong to Kid A (or, the moderator as established above). Thank you for your time, and yes, I'm a total nerd![/grammar police] Good move, Froy! As someone who has been critical in the past, I'm impressed by your sense of fairness here.
