| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Just wanted to give everybody a heads up. Seems the W32.Badtrans.b@mm has infected my computer and has sent e-mails to some board members. Just so everybody knows I have not sent any e-mails out since Monday to any board members so delete them. Please be warned this is a self-extracting and does not need to be opened or downloaded. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | This is an older worm that is apparently not all that dangerous. The thing to look for is the file extension, ".pif". I saw the remnants leftover by our firewall the other day, a file named FUN.MP3.pif , of course I didn't open the file, but if you have IE5.0/5.5, you are vulnerable. Microsoft has a patch to fix it.
