| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00  | Again? Another change? I never really liked Craig anyway. The new guy at least talks sports...Did he leave on his own or got fied with most of the morning staff? Funny thing, I thought Craig said on the last show he did was that they were going on X-mas break and will be back. Not like last year when after the break, the Sport guys we new....... Oh and I heard this morning on my crappy work truck radio that the Radio Chick is joining the morning staff at Q104.3. My shitty radio was scanning between stations and I caught the promo for her... whatever that is worth.  | ||||

Chances are, nobody will respond there either but you have a better chance to find someone who gives a rats ass there versus trying to find someone here that gives a shit. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | The new Sports Guy (forgot his name) has the worst voice in the world - it makes me want to clear my throat every two minutes - kinds like that guy that does the Mitsubishi commercials. I think Criag was let go - this show is just ridiculous already - they might as well be running infomercials. Management apparently can't make up its mind - this is even WORSE than Menudo. Radio Chick on 104.3 - ehh, she was mildly amusing when she wasn't whining. Good fer her, makes no difference to me. I almost never tune into morning radio anyway - I pop in a Pantera disc into my CD player so I can wake my ass up during the commute. But just as I was getting used to the show without Sid they get rid of what was holding them together by a thread, Craig. I can't stomach it right now. And if I want serious sports I'll listen to FAN. The RadioChick is "coming in January" (?!?) according to the announcements they play on Q104.3. But what was fun about the SportsGuys version 2.0-4.0 (Sid and/or Craig and/or Blaine) was that they didn't just do sports; They had cock fights, they brought snakes to eat rabbits into the studio, they had the HOTTEST chicks come in and get naked. But WNEW explicitly barred them from doing all that recently, and told them they had to concentrate more on sports, so I can't blame Farrell for his boring ways. It's corny, but: CBC!!! Really not a terrible idea. ESPN SNR both deal with more national stuff. Now you can't do straight sports on a station highlighted by O&A & R&F, so you gotta be a little wild. Ferrel knows sports (especially hockey with most hosts know dick about), he can be wild. Yeah his voice grates. Yeah, he's gotta learn to work with Blaine. I like him. Will everyone? of course not. FWIW Opie knows his show well and seems to like it (or he is just being a taem player). If you want sports, listen. If you don't, try elsewhere.  | ||||
