| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | I am so dissapointed in you all especially Ikea, where is the OZ premiere thread? I know I am not the only one who watches this show. Manjunk, sex, violence, manjunk, drama, suspense, manjunk, anal rape, shower scenes, and even manjunk... big sweaty hanging manjunk. The first episode was a little weak except for the ending which was sick, lol. I bet they were just sitting there figuring out what a shitty begging for the season they had so why not kill off everyones family except Schillingers grandkid and the priest. First question is it me or wasn't Schillingers grandkid black during the last season? Now that Hank Schillinger is definetly the father it is white again? Secondly Luke Perry never looked better, lol. Plus Ryan O'Rielly is just a sick fuckin bastard and I love him. Overall it was the 1st episode just setting everything up, not for nothin the next episode looks like it is gonna rock though. Chuck Zito looks like he's gonna catch a massive beatdown, Plus Keller is coming back to Oz among a lot of other things. All in all I am more excited about this season of Oz than Last seasons Sopranos or even this upcoming season truthfully. Oz is just a better show, Sopranos is just more mainstream cause it's about the mob first off, and it's more of a "family" type show so to speak. Oz is a show about prison that tackals issues sopranos wouldn't and couldn't touch.  I'm Deep Inside Your Children. They Will Betray You In MY Name. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jul. 00 | I don't know... I been a lttile disapointed in HBO series lately. They all seem fantastic the first season and sometimes the second. BUt, it's like they expect them to fail after two and just don't bother planning for the story to last any longer than that. It started happening with OZ two seasons ago but, it became increadibly obvious last season with the dead-end story lines. The aging drug thing for instance. That was the whole show for an episode or two, Then it just dissapeared and was never mentioned again. Then there were the refugees. The fact that they were being housed in a prison and mixed in with the prisoners in the first place was a bit rediculas. But, that just died also. I'm sure there are plenty more examples of this that I don't feel like typing out right now. But, you get the idea. The Sapranos, same thing. O&A devoted the better part of a show on the rediculas dead-ends to story lines last season. What ever happened to the russian? What about Adriana's club? and, so on... It's just getting way too common for HBO to have a fresh new never been seen before idea and they just give up. I'm quite disapointed. But, thanks for all the manjunk. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Wasnt anything spectacular, but it did set the tone for the season pretty well. I think this is the season O'Reilly goes down: not getting shanked by anyone, but probably getting executed for killing Gloria's rapist. It was obvious they were setting up all the characters, reminding us who everyone is. and I think the Oz season, last season, was probably the best in awhile.
