| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | A friend of mine just got out of the army and he told me that every Sunday at 13:00 hours there was a Wiccan service for the enlisted men and women that practiced Wicca! This totally blew me away! Then he really floored me by telling me that it was right after the Meditation Hour! Wow! I know we endorse freedom of religion and I am all for it, but I really find it hard to believe that the Armed Services would go that far! "Remember, where-ever you go...there you are." "Ratshit! | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I joined the Navy In '95, got out In 2000, and we had whatever religion you wanted on sundays.The way it always happened was, some whiny fuck cried that his religion wasn't allowed or properly represented,and by next sunday, there was a special hour set aside for "Fluffy kitty-cat worship", or "Church of the divine 1 5/8" lug nut" The Navy was so scared that they would get sued that they would allow any religion, even If you just made It up.  God loves you.It's everyone else that thinks you're an asshole. If you think about It, taking a shit Is really reverse butt-sex. | ||||

This guy pulled out the freedom of religion thing. I gotta agree with some of the others on this. Who the fuck cares who you worship as long as you get the fuckin job done?? Although I have to admit waking the guy up when he was meditating scared the shit out of me. He would lay there with his arms crossed over his chest like fuckin Dracula or something, or stand out on the bow of the ship in the middle of the night with his hands stretched out in front of him meditationg or casting a spell...freaked me out some.
