| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00  | Did anyone see the new show tonite if so what did you think? I diddnt paticuarly like the cast from my first impression. The show was pretty good and will hold my interest for another few weeks i guess. To tell the truth the cast for the new The Amazing Race looked alot better, also I think its a better show to begin with. "My girlfreinds mom still hasent been born!" | ||||

Comment of the night was this black guy from Harlem who was talking about this girl Sarah he wanted to get rid of by saying all she has going for her are her flotation deivces and than the camera goes to her swimming on her back in a bikini. Girls are much hotter on this show than the last one. | ||||

I think they figured out that what sells in this show is the interaction among the cast - the more contentious the better. So why bother making the venue an ugly fucking duck like Africa? - no- bring it back to "tropical island" backdrop. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I watched it, thought it was better than any Survivor:Africa show as well (I only watched half of them, didn't even bother with the finale). The guy who got booted off deserved it (IMO) because he was really annoying. Big funbags always help to keep viewers, but I get the feeling she isn;t gonna last long on the show. She already pissed off her tribe when they were coming to shore and she was the only one NOT rowing - I believe a reference was made likening her to Cleopatra. Either way, not a bad show. Screw Friends. They threaten every season to make it the last season unless NBC comes up with more cash. No one cares about the insignifant lives of other people placed on some foreign land....except people whose lives are insignificant as well. Tv as a whole has gone down the shitter. Most people I talk to dont speak of the guilty pleasures they take in when they watch Friends, ER, the West Wing, Law and Order, Survivor, Everyon Hates Raymond, etc. They proudly state "Well, I watch the History Channel, I watch the Discovery Channel, I watch Home and Garden Televison." Even more mindless crap. The History Channel is always about WWII, the Discovery Channel is now always about Islam , or animals fucking, and Home and Garden Is all about people applying really shitty ideas to their houses. I feel that movies, sports networks, and Party of Five are the only true bits of television that hold true value. It's always good to study and critique the logistics of film, sports is the truest form of reality tv, and whats not to like about Neve Campbell, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lacey Chabert, and Jay Mohr's boyfriend all in one tv show? | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 02 | Well, I watch Survivor because I get entertained by the sometimes unique ways people will whore themselves for a buck or a chance at fame. I like exposing (no pun intended) it out loud as I watch. Last night, I found myself thinking how difficult the initial first night or two must be as a member of the team; jockeying for pecking order, trying to be neither too loud nor too quiet. It would be highly frustrating for me. Having someone tell you - "No, we should do it this way," would drive me nuts. I recall Jerri, the bitch*, telling Keith how to fuckin' cook rice and he was the chef. Fuckin' rice!! The last thing I would want is to be tasked by some self-appointed leader.... Anyway, it should be fun bashing it each week.
