| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | Spyware does what it name implies. It's spy's on your interent activity. It's main purpose is to deliver the information of your surfing to companies. They go and try to tailor ads to you taste. This way you may get turned onto a product that they are trying to hauck. But some people think that this info is then also sold to/given to government aganices (i.e. law enforcement). If you go to downloads.com, get something called Ad-aware i think the name is. (ok, through legalese if you say "yes" you can allow them to do so in the agreement) This is how they make money. They sell you habits to advertisers.
