Ok, I know I'm being a pain in the ass here, but it's super HERO not villain. Venom is a kick-ass comic character, but he's a villain. Pay attention (although if someone wants to start a villain topic, that'd be cool too).
As for me, I'd say Wolverine first of all, and Spidey as a second. The two of them were always my favs and just very cool characters, and they stayed cool over the years, no big changes for Spidey, and Wolverine was always a little f-ed up anyway, so he was cool.

Wolverine always was my fav growing up. He was the original bad-ass-motherfucker. Although the character with the best powers would have to be Magneto...he can fly, move/control damn near anything, kill people just by willing it to happen. Definately hard-core.
