O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	From time to time the chat and while your at work threads contain some interesting venting from board members about their jobs. So here's an opportunity to let us know why your job sucks worse than anybody elses. I came across this pic the other day. O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00	well, it doesn't even come CLOSE to that, but... i just left my job today after 3 and 1/2 years. at first it was ok, then got to be fun once i knew the owner better. i worked at a coffee shop at my local train station before school, 5:30 till 8 am. all of my friends thought i was totally insane (which i am, but in this case i was thinking properly). but after the old guy sold the place in january, the new guy's just been doing some stupid shit, nothing good for the store. so i left - too much bullshit. darthziggy@opieanthony.com shelle says i'm "pretty good of a friend" :p My unofficial adopted newbie: devil's a-hole, when he decides to post that is LET'S GO ISLANDERS

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	I won't say I have the worst job. But I get up at 5:30am work til' 6pm or on (overtime). Except I don't get paid overtime I get paid the same $8. Flat. Your supposed to get time and a half and I just get $8 instead of $12. Plus I do more than what my job calls for and only an earning $8 an hour. The worst part of all is I work with my father. This is what I get for dropping out in the 10th grade. bumpkinhead<--loser

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	Darth there's lot's of things i'd rather be doing. But I am stuck in this job. I have to pay the bills. I work at jfk for a frieght fowarder. I bust my ass everyday to wind up with $300 at the end of the week. IT's sad. What do I do with the money? I drink and smoke it away. And pray I will have enough money at the end of the month tp pay bills. I wanna go back to school. But that's impossible for me. My parents are splitting up and are both screwed retirement wise. So I am on my own. It's rough. On the weekends I go to the city for acting auditions. But that's like 1 in a 1000. So it's hard to land anything good. Ok I have shared way too much..sorry. :)

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	I didn't wanna make it a sports issue. I was just being a wise ass. I am guessing your a long islander. Where's about? Just to stay up to the topic of this thread. I have a new boss on top of everything and he is trying to change company policy. He's a jap, so he think that we are gonna wear uniforms or something. My job gets worse day by day.

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	well i have a route, work second shift picking up medical specimens, have no co-workers, meet no one, have an asshole manager who didn't even graduate from highschool, have to work in every snow rain wind, sleet and any other storm you can think of, but i do get to listen to all of the show!! Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	Well I work at an ambulance manufactoring co. In my dept we build two styles of ambulances. The van type and the smaller box style. The rest of the co build the larger ambulances and the gigantic rescue vehicles. its not a bad job except for the fact that my dept never gets OT. Even if we did the two bosses in charge would never work it so that means I cant work OT unless one of them is around. They never order parts on time they never listen when you tell them you need something. then when we are all out they say. "Why didnt you say something sooner." Nobody in my dept has their own tools. They borrow from me and never return. God forid if I borrow one of their tools they watch me until im done. I work from 7am 3pm. after that I go to night school until 10pm. I cant wait to graduate so I can get the hell out of there.

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01	My hours are sweet, I work 3PM to 11PM. My job sucks though. I'm a custodian in a school full of yuppies that don't clean up after themselves. That's why I'm trying to leave that place and get into law enforcement. -My boss is an f'n tool-
