| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00  | What diseases run in your family, and what is the average lifespan of previous family members. On my father's side of the family - Cancer is rampant - Avg. age = 55 On my mother's side of the family - Diabetes throughout - Avg. age = 57 I don't smoke, or eat like a pig, so I am thinking I can make it until the day before retirement. How about you? I also did the LifeSpan Clock It says I will live until I am - Normal Mode = 75 Pessimistic Mode = 70 Sadistic Mode = 45 Theoretically, if I snapped a cat's neck, ate a Twinkie and smoked a Marlboro right now, I could call it a life. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | normal mode : 75 pessimistic mode : 70 sadistic mode : 45 I always said I would live to see 100, I guess I was wrong :( As for family diseases, on my mom's side Glaucoma and arthritis are fairly prevalent, but not all that life-threatening (aside from going blind and being achy all the time). My dad's side is the problem - Diabetes. It's managed to take out pretty much all of his family (including him - at age 44). Needless to say, I have a high chance of developing it, but with proper nutrition it can be controlled, and there is a good chance I could live to see 100 (according to my doctor anyway). So far I've managed to stay healthy :-D  You can reach me through AIM or email. I really don't give a fuck as to which one you use.

On my mom's side: Purely mental shit. Dementia, Alzheimer's, manic depression, you name it, someone in the family has it. Wheeeeeeeeeeee. | Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | In normal mode it said i'd live to 77. I didn't do the other too, cause I am not pessimistic nor sadistic. The only thing that runs in my family, on both sides, is Cancer. But the only people who have gotten it are men, in their prostates, so maybe I'm ok. As far as lifespan of my family, it's high. One of my mother's grandmothers died at 104, the other at 98. My grandparents were all in their 80s when they died, except the one who is still ticking at 78.  I LOVE THE MORON | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | yeah, i got the same ages as all the girls i think 72,65 and 38 on my mum's side, my grandma is still going at 90, her older sister just died, she was 98 or 99 and her 3 brothers were all in their 80's. my grandpa i think was 79. my dad's parents are still going, they're in their early 80's. and my great granddad was about 95 when he died. the only disease that i know of is my dad's mum had breast cancer, but she's fine now as far as i know. also on my mum's side, anemia and irregular heartbeats, but nothing serious. and of course they're all completely insane. so yeah, may i'll just be old and senile...  need me? try: crxgirl@opieanthony.com | ||||
