However, I am trying to determine how important the skills factor is so I am controlling all other variables like personality, confidence level, or anything else. The only 2 variables involved here are skills and looks. | ||||

If it will satisfy your query, I would select the hot chick. But, in reality this situation would never arise, so it is impossible to predict. You cannot remove the deciding factors, and expect to get a reasonable decision.

I know I already posted my answer (firmly at that), but I'll have to retract it and say my choice would be neither. Why? Basically, a hottie with no skills would lead to a dead-end steet (things would get boring real fast - yeah, shes hot, but a physical relationship does require some heat under the sheets) and an unattractive yet skillful woman, amazing as she might be, would also lose her luster due to her being cosmetically challenged (if I can't get into her, nothings gonna happen). Point is, neither would be a great choice to make in my opinion, and I retract my hastily-made answer yesterday.
