| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00  | ok took me long enough to think of one, but i finally got around to it didnt i??? todays tasty question is... its getting closer to summertime and you know what that means. Dairy Queens will be opening up around the tri-state area. my question is, when you go to dairy queen, what do you order??? i used to get ice cream sodas from there all the time, mainly because i live a block away from one. however as times change so do i. the thing i love now is Oreo Blizzards. if there is something better there then let me know because on a hot summer day there is nothing better to me then that. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm blizzard  | ||||

Out in the Pacific Northwest (and I believe much of the rest of the country - I just mentioned the NW cause I lived in Oregon for a bit), Dairy Queen is actually a fast food place like any other. It's the same company.... they sell the same ice cream, Blizzards, Dilly Bars, what have you... they also sell burgers and fries, things like that, like your average fast food joint... Kind of wacky, having grown up in Jersey, the first time someone asks if you want to go get something to eat at DQ... ahh the ODD look you get when you say "nah, I don't feel like ice cream, let's get burgers or something"...  Me droogies: Two positions currently available. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | FTL, The Dq on Rt 4 in Paramus used to have the whole fastfood setup also. First, I find the hottest babe-teen working there and I get to know her over the course of the spring/summer. Then after getting to know her, I ask her a bunch of questions, which she answers immediately. One of the more important questions includes if she will allow me to eat my favorite BLIZZARD off of her, the cream-sickle blizzard, yummy.... :) . Upon completion, she is then allowed to take all of my cream-sickle as her dessert.... :)  Jeder oder Keiner, Alles oder Nichts | ||||

I thought it was exclusive in the backwater parts of America. ;) Here on Long Island we have Carvel, Baskin Robbins and Friendly's. To answer your question, a strawberry Fribble is the sweetest thing on a hot day. Can't wait for the sun to come out.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Being from long island i dont have a DQ by me :-( but I goto the Poconos at least twice a year and when I do, I usually get a German Chocolate Cake blizzard, vanilla ice cream, brownies, coconut and nuts...or the banana pudding blizzard, vanilla ice cream, bananas and nilla wafers...yummy. The one up in the Poconos has food and their chicken strips are really good! They need to build a DQ on the island  "What are we going to do about this?
