My car had been waiting for me since i was 15, it was a 1982 Red Trans Am, just like the one in this pic but sooo much nicer, because it used to be my dad's car

Now my TA had chrome rims, t-tops,tinted windows, my dad made the seats power seats which was awesome and the shifter was this cool black leather, 2 - 10 inch subs in the hatch with an amp and an 8 disk changer. The cataliter converter(i know i butchered that) was gutted out to make it alittle quicker. the little night rider flashing red light on the dash to tell me when the alarm was on and the paint on the car was like it was brand new....man i miss that car. But now i drive a 93 firebird, which i bought for myself because i didnt want people to think that my daddy gives me everything. and i love it but i wish it was a TA so it could be alittle quicker

My first car was a '71 Dodge Dart Swinger with a 318 V8 in it. It would stall if I accelerated too hard, so I would have to get out and use a pencil to hold the choke open to get it started again.
The best part is when it would happen in front of guys. They'd come running over to me, a girl of 18, and ask me if I needed help. And I'd say "Yeah, get in and turn the key when I tell you to."

My first car was a 1976 Duster. I paid $100 for it in 1985. It was pretty weather beaten on the outside, but ran great. It was nice on the inside though, with white bucket seats and a three speed on the floor. I sold it a couple years later for $250.

I had a wonderfully shitty 1985 Ford LTD. It was free, so I can't complain too much.

I first started driving when I was 21, and while I was stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC. In order to buy the car, I had to get a Driver's Liscense of course, and Insurance. Note that I had never driven any kind of motorized vehichle before... I decided to buy a red 91 Ford Probe in 1995... It turned out to be a piece of shit after late 97, but while I had it it got me to where I needed to go. I finally got tired of spending money on vehicle repairs, and decided to get rid of it. In 1999 I got my baby... A black 96 Camaro Coupe... It didn't have the T-tops, and it's not an 8- cylinder(Insurance reasons), but for a 6 cylinder it's pretty strong... I love my Camaro, and I defenitely am much happier w/ it than I was w/ my Anal Probe- Ford Sucks!

It's amazing that no one's mommy or daay bought their first car!

Well, my 1st car was a 1984 Pontiac Sunbird piece of shit that I later found out had no heat for $1800...when the engine caught on fire I bought a 1991 Buick Skylark also a piece of shit with an experimental Quad-4 motor---this meant that the head gasket blew twice because it was "experimental"

I bought these both from the same place, my boyfriend's father's best friend, what a fucking dick! When the head gasket blew a 2nd time on my Buick, I had my tow-truck driver friend just drop it off in front of his used car dealership and never heard from him again

I'm not being rude. You're just insignificant.

In 1988, I got a yellow 1979 Subaru Wagon for $400. Ugly, but had really nice Alpin Speakers. They magnets were to heavy for the trunk door.

My first legitimate vehicle.... one that actually cost more than one paycheck.... 1995 Nissan P/U. It's not a vehicle to impress chicks, but then again, I wasn't looking for chicks who would be impress by what I was driving. Still haven't gotten around to replacing the stock stereo.

Wouldn't mind trading it in for a Prowler or a nice '70s muscle car....
