| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | OK I have checked a few sites out and Blow hasn't been getting good ratings. It has been mediocre at best. Filmforce the site that gave it a mediocre rating is usually right on the money. Now I want to know has anyone seen it and does it suck or not. Is it just another movie that has been over-hyped. Therefore i can see why it would get the bad reviews. i can't really imagine that Roger Ebert fires up the hooka before going to review a flick... His name alone is good enough to make things golden. as far as the movie blow i have always been interested in Pablo Escobar. They should have made Pablo the main character in my opinion. But i have heard positive and negative things about it. I have never been too influenced by critics until i see it myself. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | I want to see this movie, it looks awesome but the reviews have been AWFUL. Just Visiting has been getting better words, disappointing. And Johnny Depp is a great actor in some great movies (Fear and Loathing, Donnie Brasco). Anyway, the first movie on my list is Memento about a guy wanting to get revenge on the murder of his wife but has no short term memory. Supposed to rock. Then Enemy at the Gates. Then Blow. Then Joe Dirt.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Went and saw the movie last night, it was really good. Johnny Depp played an amazing role, and the part of Escobar, while very limited, was done well also. I would reccomend it to anyone who has done blow, or knows someone who ended up getting fucked by his friends to save their asses!! | ||||
