Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00	I have been doing this for about 3 years now with out any problems. Since you can not regulate the airwaves and the sattalite signals are just in the air waiting to be stolen(shared) Okay what you do is buy a dish and a receiver @ $150, you need to know some one who pays for direct TV service. Then all you do is call direct TV from the house with an active account(if you can get thru) and tell then you want to add a new receiver to the account.. They will ask you to give the serial # from the new box, you plug the phone line in to the back of the box and direct TV sends out a signal activeating the box. Then you are all set, just one catch DO NOT plug the phone line in to the new receiver at your house(house that does not pay for service) as long as you DO NOT plug in the phone line direct TV will not know. If you do plug in the box then you are fucked. they only new charges on teh active account will be a $5 a month charge to the active account, any questions? good luck all This message was edited by hummerjon on 4-11-01 @ 11:55 AM

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Hummer, you need the phone line plugged in or otherwise Directv will not work. I am not sure of the message but all you see is a black screen with an error message on the bottom. The only way that having another receiver without pugged into the phone line was with the old blue card. If you have the football guy on the card it won't work. However, since end of january, Directv has scranbled those signals and you are unable to view the programming for free. If you do not have this descrambled card, I would really like to know how you get yours to work without a phone line becase it is impossible. Teens, making the world a better place to live in.

Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00	you do not need the phone line plugged in i just got a new HD receiver, and no phone line in back and it does work i also have the old blue cards in older receivers and have a program called Spoofer to clear the cards after you fill them up with $300 of pay per view. teen i does work but you have to activate the receiver from an active paying account's house unless you will see the black message This message was edited by hummerjon on 4-11-01 @ 12:02 PM

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Hummer, my friend has something that he connects to the internet to download software to get rid of the bullet they send out. Like I said since January, this does not work anymore. I don't know if this Spoofer you talk about is the same thing. Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00	The friend who pays for service got the hardware that clears the card. He got it over seas, it is hard to find but inexpensive. you are right the cards wre blown in JAN but you can still clear the old blue cards . These blue cards are going for like $300 on Ebay, but clearing them is another story

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	I have the cards. Totsl between my father, my brother and I we have 4 of those cards. We just need to know how to fix them. Any info about clearing them would be a huge help. Teens, making the world a better place to live in.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	O&A swallow, if you realized how great these cards are, you would be very intersted too. Just imagine, close to 900 channels, movies, PPV specials, PPV movies, Sports packages, PORN. It is well worth it. Teens, making the world a better place to live in.
