| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Great thread Faceman! I too heard the board mentioned on O & A. I joined in October, while I was still in Computer School learning Microsoft Networking. I must tell you the last few weeks of school were more gooder while I was on the board. I remember when Anthony first posted, I think the date was October 12, 2000 (My wedding anniversary). His post was "Here I am, Guys". No one believed him at first. In fact, I remember Ant posting about Gooch having a problem with him. (Ahhhhh, those were the days, my friend, I thought they'd never end...) That thread got so many views at the time, it kept coming up as new people joined the board. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | After the bang party, I was out from work (I was sick) and I heard about all the commotion and the stories, or lack thereof, in some cases, so I decided to check out the board, and remembering about hellhole, came over and registered with my real name (mistake), posted twice, got flamed a little, and left for a while, then I just lurked around for a while, re-registered with my new name, got adopted, and now try to contribute. Unlike most (hell all other) shows on wnew, O&A have some class to their listeners (sorry Amy) and we as the faithful respond by being true and really having fun with this whole thing. This has become more than just a message board, its an extended family, a place to come and have fun. I really commend Froy for all the work he puts into this, and all the other mods too, I am sure their job here isnt easy. And without this board, I might just have to find something else to do, and who wants to do that. Now, if I can just get my status changed..... | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Oct. 00 | Hmmm, let me think... I came here in the wake of the bang party fiasco. I needed to see what this Upuauat and Italian Princess had going on. They stood up to Anthony's demand that Upuauat be banned and I had to see what the fuck this place was all aout. I registered under another name, but quickly found my present and most bestest name. Well, I lurked and posted innocent posts and slowly but surely made friends. CryBaby Howie took to slamming me in his inimitable way and I quickly met some really cool people. Some of us have gone through some seriously tough times together and you all know who you are! Well, I stayed because I was addicted. I need this place. This place has brought me out of some serious personal doldrums and introduced me to many, many wonderful people. I can honestly say, in deference to Faceman's prophesy, that if O&A went off the air, I would be sad, but I would still be here. Probably more than ever. Although I miss a lot of the old members who have moved on, new people keep joining and adding to the experience. I bow to Froy, who had the vision to create this site and guide it with surprising grace and intelligence for a 12 year old. Like Opak said long, long ago, this place has done wonders for me. And look Ma! They made me a Moderator. Suckers!  Chef Corpse Boyardee is bringing the food, don't worry! < | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | The first time I came and joined was when someone here started a "Save Psycho Mark" petition after the Sex for Sam/Anal on Ken Stevens' couch situation that the guys mentioned on the air. I forgot what I signed up as that time so I never used it again. The second time I came here was after the ESPN zone fiasco. I felt the need to get some information and at first there wasn't much to get so I gave up on that. But some of the people I met were really cool. My first board function was the Dice at the Beacon after party. I met those people and they were still really cool. For the most part I have enjoyed my time here. There have been some rough times and some situations that were all just in my head, but I have had a great time over all. And just a point of fact, most of my time I spend in off topic because I think you guys are more entertaining when you can ramble on the inane. Plus there are a few people I met here that I think could be friends for life.  Sometimes you just have to be the bigger man. LOL...this board is so funny because if you're a real character, you're not going to be forgotten- already people have mentioned CBH, IP, Upu, even JMB...There is a lot of history here :) So I came on the board in December after the Voyeur Bus incident, I wanted to see what happened hour by hour while they were still in jail. I found out the name and phone of Adolph's pr person so that everyone could bug the shit out of her....Haven't had many problems here except with WhipThisOut who decided for no apparent reason that he didn't like me Now I'm a computer geek, dork, and all-around board-aholic while I'm at work, until I can afford a computer for home, then I'll have a real problem! But it's all good and I've met a lot of special people here (and some really dumb ones hehehe)...you guys know who you are :) All my slacker buds in the working(?) thread & everyone who helps in Music  no-one ever tends to me. Sitting alone covered in breeze. Some things are so my mind can breathe. The waiting is hard, fuckin' takes so long. Draped in sun, hands in sand. Earth acid cleanses me. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I came onboard after having looked at the board before the Bang party, but ended up joining and posting during the Bang party member explosion...where I immediately got into a heated debate with CBH, IP, Upuauat & Opak. CBH and I spent the day insulting one another, until the next day, where we found it more fun to both tool on others. I still miss CBH (sniff sniff). His sigs were awesome, and his ability to insult, legendary. "Those were the days!" -Archie & Edith Bunker Anyway, about a month or so later, Froy offered me modship. There was much debating and work at the time to get things smoothed out with the influx of new members, and from November till Jan was some memorable history. Things have changed a bit since then. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I had been meaning to check out the board for months... but every time they mentioned it on the show, I'd forget about it by the time I was at a computer and able to take a look. Then came the Bang Party fiasco... part of that took place while I was in front of the computer, so I finally got to check it out. I lurked for a bit, trying to find an original name that no one had thought of (after seeing about 5 variations of Stay Out Da Bushes).... this name hit me, and instantly I had a sig idea, so I did a search to see if anyone had the name, then went for it. The board has become a damn fine place to have a debate or just kill time.... I've been to a few get-togethers and I always have a blast - there are a ton of great people here. As you know that WAS stern's site bashing O&A. So I figured it out for myself. I just typed in OA.com. I have been enjoying the board through my own personal good times and bad times. I plan on finally meeting you all at the softball game. The original's I remember are: OPAK, Itallion Princess, Gonzostyle, Corpsegrinderjunk, Wnewsgirl, Upuauat, UFDfireman<--(haven't seen him in a coon's age), PR, The cunt(or katwoman), And the infamous SEAN COLD. I know I missed lots of ya. But those were just some of the interesting people I have met here. ;)  | ||||

I decided to watch what I said, and got adopted right away (thanks JustJon)and really started to enjoy the board. I have met some really cool people both on and off the message board, and am happy to finally know other people who listen to and like O and A. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Aug. 00 | faceman this is a great post the reason i signed up to this board in the first place is because i missed the softball game and they kept on saying this site on the air to see pictures so i came...i never ever saw those pictures but i met very awesome people here i remember my first post it was to make fun of jay mohr by plugging my "gig" at carolines...IP got very mad at me but i met my very first friend here, Finger Bang i went to voice chat a lot and met great people there, remember the daddy lines guys?? just jon still has sound clips of me saying some fucked up shit i was at the second board party ("bang party")...the first one i didnt get to go to because i wasnt allowed in the city...the "bang party" as people call it was the best party yet...i had a great time and it gave me a chance to meet everyone i had been talking with its been a bumpy ride from then until here but all in all its been great...i met a great guy here who i love very much...i have met great people who i now consider great friends, so close theyre considered family thanks for all the great times guys WHATEVER BEN -----------------------------------------------------------------  THESKANKWHOHANGSUPTHEPHONE I'M ON THE ISLAND OF MISFIT TOYS!
