That jerkoff picked on me for no reason what so ever the first few days i was here and when i got up the courage to stand up to him, he banned me. (was Jjaybowe before he banned me) And before that id watch him and IP flirt in every fuckin thread, no matter what the topic was, theyd always defile a persons thread with their bullshit. And if the person said somthin, theyd always end up gettin picked on. Never met him in person, but the person he was here on the board was somone that id never be friends with. Froy was the first one I talked to and he was always really cool as were all the other Mods I've talked to...except UPU. It was right after the board hit 10,000 members. There was a thread in OT that was about the board hitting the 10K mark and the last post in the thread was something like, "we're at 9,999 right now" and that was it...no more posts to that particular thread. I found the post to be somewhat "ironic" since the board had obviously passed the 10K point. I sent UPU an IM and jokingly asked him to lock the thread for the board's "historical archives". I thought he was gonna ban me right there from the IM. He told me to steer clear of him on the board (which I did) and he's pretend like I never asked him...What a DEEEK... I never met the guy personally, but I'm damn glad he's not here anymore. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00 | its funny how people say UPU wasnt worth talking about, worth forgetting, good bye and good riddance and all that shit, but you are still fucking talking about him months after he left. my 2 cents, on the board he was the most miserable fucking guy you would ever want to meet. never had a nice word to say to anyone i remember and banned more people than everyone else combined, i know all that shit, but you know what i never had a problem with him, EVER. if i had a problem, he would listen, if i had a question or needed help, he would listen and help if he could. if i just wanted to shoot the shit, he would be there to shoot it along with me, whether it be about nascar, wrestling, comics, life, whatever it was we would talk. shit we would even joke around, if you could believe that. i never met him in person, but to tell you the truth he is one of the few people i would actually go out of my way to hang with if the opportunity actually came up. for all those that were "afraid" to talk to him for fear of being "bashed", do words actually hurt that much and would you just die if he didnt like you? for those of you who take it as a badge of honor that you stood up to him, congratulations, your award is in the mail. keep checking for it. he was only a man, albeit one who seemed to be wrapped up in some sort of character, but just a man nonetheless. did i think he went over the top around here, fuck yeah, was he too abrasive, fuck yeah. did he care about people or if you liked him, fuck no. and are things better around here without him, most definately they are. do i think he should come back, or do i even want him to come back, nope i dont, it wouldnt be good for the board, it would only be a hinderance, but i wont sit here and bash him in absentia, like everyone else has obviously come here to do as for ip, she was one of the sweetest people on or off this board i know. she helped me when i needed it and always had time to talk to me when i wanted her to. they both left for their own reasons that i know of, but i dont feel the need to share with all of you. it wasnt a spur of the moment thing i can tell you that. and thats all i will tell you. what i will say is that i havent been in contact with upu since he left. thats my choice as much as it is his, i mean i havent gone out of my way to contact him just like he hasnt contacted me. i am planning to drop him a email to see how he is, i guess ill find out if we are as close as i thought then. as for ip i sent her an email and she sent me one back. so i made an effort and she made one back so things are cool there. bottom line, do i think either of them should come back??? hell no, it would just hinder the boards progress. but what i think should happen is that you people should get over it already. hes gone and i can almost guarantee you, he wont be back so you people should really get over things. its been long enough, its time to move on, it is a message board after all  You Must Chill, You Must Chill | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Nothin wrong with exorcising some of the demons. UP & IP both were members of this board when it was more of a private club. They both ended up resenting the influx of new members who came...and as the board grew bigger, they both fell into behaviors that were counteractive. IP hid in Music...UP became a cartoon-like character. The more people and changes we went thru...the more they fell into that abyss. Obviously they ended up being totally miserable, and made many others miserable too. Like FACE, I did have a good rapport with Up...but don't get me wrong....he was a Cancer to this board. His ego fastened around this simple message board of O&A listeners. Along with IP, who I never did get along with, though I tried and tried. In the end...their slow death was an unmitigated ridiculous drama befitting a bad Broadway show. They didn't want to be here, for the most part, didn't make an attempt to keep friendships or ties here. Quite bluntly... GOOD RIDDANCE  | ||||

I know some of you think he was an ass and not a producive member, and in a way he was, he at least had the balls to stand up to somebody without using his "Powers" and sorted out the assholes who came in looking to start trouble. I disagree with Sean and Froy when they say he was just a headache, because he did it for the love of the board, not to feed his ego like some put it..shit sorry, this is an Up thread...my bad! One final note here...it's my understanding that what JMB did was an act and he had fun doing it, and never took it seriously! That's all...I was only gonna quote and agree with Gonzo when he said that Ant wanted Up gone on the radio and that started the downhill spiral of him....  Proud to be under the direction of PanterA JMB adopted me the first time around and I feel I want to keep his NAME here!! | ||||
