This changes a couple of things, they deny Jackass involvement. Will Jackass still be blamed, I submit that it will

Teen Denies 'Jackass' Inspired Stunt
One of the teenagers involved in a videotaped stunt Monday in which two teens in a car hit a third teen said that the boys are responsible for their own actions, not a TV show.

WLWT Eyewitness News 5's Ryan Owens reports that the attorney for one of the Independence teens said that the boy wants everyone to know that the stunt was not performed and videotaped in hope of appearing on the MTV show "Jackass."

Through his attorney Eric Deters, the 15-year-old boy said that he and his friends do stunts all the time, and that sometimes they videotape them. The boy said that the accident that put his 16-year-old friend into the hospital was the fault of the teens and should not be blamed on the TV show.

Deters said that the police and the Kenton County prosecutor are wrong when they attribute the stunt to the MTV show. He also criticizes the Kenton County prosecutor for giving the tape to the media. He said that because of the tape, his client and the client's family have bee humiliated nationally.

"Who couldn't watch that tape and say, 'Oh my God,'" Deters said. "But, you know, it's not drug dealing. It's not drunk driving. It's not burglary. These kids have been raked over the coals and it's really unfair."

The teen driver and the passenger holding a video camera have been charged with felonies in connection with the incident. The teen who was hit and got a broken leg may also be charged.

The saddest part of all, the fact that Jackass is prob going to be pulled off the air like other GOOD MTV shows ((an oxymoron nowadays))

...and THAT pisses me off.

I can't adopt, but I'm not a newbie

Here's what I don't get. Every news story that I heard do this story automatically brings up "Jackass".
Has anyone else seen the commercial, I think it's for Reeebok that has the "Lone Ranger" theme song going as they show a bunch of different clips of stupid people doing stupid things.
Amid the montage...there's a kid jumping a moving car. Now it's obvious that he was not really in front of the car but closer to the camera. giving the illusion that he jumped it, but still....

I GUESS JUST BECAUSE THEY GIVE MONEY TO THE STATIONS, THEY ARE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH CRAP WHILE "JACKASS" GETS ALL THE BLAME! :(

Just my 2 cents.
