| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Click here for a pretty decent Fan-Site. It ran in Japan under the name of "Mazinger Z", and was the first of the "Giant Robot" anime genre. It has 96 episodes in the first series (Mazinger Z), 56 in the second (Giant Mazinger), and 72 in the final installment (UFO Robot Giganzer). | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I used to watch it too. I came out when, damn can't remember, was 15 vehicles that turned into one giant robot and not 5 lions. I hated the 5 lions. The characters resembled the G-Force (Battle for the Planets) WAY too much. Anyways, my favorite early cartoon/Anime is.... STARBLAZERS!!!! Apparently Toonami.com is going to show the series. | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | TANZOR Z was this kid who controled a robot. he drove his motor cycle to a shed, then took this hellicopter thing that flew into the head and became the BRAIN of this robot. then he would summon this flying belt thing, which he'd start running, jump in the air and the jet thing clamped around his waste. He had a girlfriend who had a robot who shot missles from her BOOBS, and his friend was also HANK on VOLRTON, but he also had a big fat goofy looking robot. I remember it being on the family channel back in the 80's.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I was trying to say that Tranzor Z was out around the same time Voltron was, but me English not so good. I think I was trying to infer that was a period when a lot of space/sci fi cartoons hit the air. I believe Robotech followed, but that wasn't shown where I was.
