| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01  | I will reveal Nothing about the plot of the movie, i just wanna give a lil opinion on it for anyone who plans on seeing it this weekend. Over all the movie was pretty good. I feel it is a must that you have had to see the first one due to the fact there are alot of things that reappear in this movies from the first. Special effect were very good (some animation was a lil....eh). Pretty good action. and only a few part were a lil bullshit. But oer all a thumbs up and it should make money. I saw it at the Ewalk theater on 42st. The movies is tagged with the folowing trailers. Fina Fantasy**(new trailer)**, Jurassic Park 3, Evelution and one other i missed due to the fact i left the theater to complain that there was no sound during the trailers. Oh well its work a look and good action movie for action fans. Enjoy. CC | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | as good as the first?....hmm...i say it is almost as good as the first. I personally like dthe first one better. This one has more computer generated material to dazzel the audience...a tactic i feel which is a blessing and a burden at the same time. Blessing becasue there are no more boundries to what you can't do any more. Burden hollywood movies that might contain oh so many computer generated material and dump all types on money into a movie and still have it suck where they were banjing on the over load of computer generated materal to sell the movie. Twister perfect example. | ||||

And I haven't seen 2 yet but just from the trailer you can tell the Rock isn't it in too long. Probably just a part of the history of that bracelet thing. He also wasn't out of wrestling long enough to play a big part. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I saw the movie Friday night. I thought it was great. Lots of special effects, lots of fight scenes, some funny scenes. Overall it was the perfect movie to start the summer. I also thought the Rock was really good too. He did not speak much so I guess that's why he was good. The end was really cool as well.  | ||||

The chick was ugly, but when I heard her say "Do you have to dig up dead bodies to find girls to fall in love with?" the hair on the back of my neck stood on end. I heard that line numerous times on White Zombie's album (la Sexoristo, track 1), but never knew what movie it came from. I though the remake was kind of cheesey and I have no intention of seeing the sequal. To quote "The Critic": "If the movie is a remake of the classic, see the classic...... Just don't go!" | Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 01 | 70 Million in the first weekend. I think they were saying it set some sort of record on the radio this morning. For those of you that liked the first movie, the "Ultimate Edition" is out on DVD now. It has the dts soundtrack with a lot of bonus stuff that wasn't on the first DVD. allyourbasearebelongtous  | ||||

And what is even more amazing is that Star Wars Episode one did that much in 5 days and Mummy 2 did it in 3 days. Sometimes you have to be the bigger man.
