| Hanger-On Registered: May. 01  | yeah-- if u havent seen it for a second time- then i highly suggest u do-- and on dvd too-- because it was rated one of the top ten dvds of all time in my ew(entertainment weekly)-- and for good reason---it enhances your enjoyment of it--i mean the first time i saw it-- i though it was a two star movie--- but after the second go around--im raising the star value to a 3 and a quarter--- u pick up on all sorts of things that go unnoticed the first time-- such as................the scene where hes beating himself up in his bosses office and he says "reminds me of my first fight with tyler"-----------also-- they show quick flashes of tyler in the very beginning to symbolize the creation of his alter ego------- then last but certainly not least--- twice during the movie they splice in a picture of a hugh mun gus cock-- because that is made mention of in the movie itself-- so in conclusion i must say that the dvd version of fight club is a must see-- id even put it up there with the dvd version of "the kings of comedy"--- for a review of the kings of comedy- please see the topic entitled "the kings of comedy:a must see" | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Seriously. On DVD, you notice a lot of shit the first time. Hell, you probably smacked yourself for only seeing half as much in the theater. The parts with the man-cock are not hidden in any way. However, the quick flahes of Tyler in the beginning (about 5 or 6 of them) are things you may not have noticed when you saw it in the theater the first time, simply because you weren't looking for anything weird unless someone rooned the big part of the plot that fucks with your head, which I will not roon now if you don't know it already (for whatever reason). But if you've never seen FC, what are you doing in this thread? LTrain probably didn't notice the Warning at the beginning, either. Hell, I never pay attention to that crap.... took me maybe two times to catch that bit. What a great, fucked up movie.  Me droogies: Two positions currently available. | ||||
