O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | There's two weeks left so I figured I'd bring this to the top, see who's been watching it still. I still watch it weekly. I think it's very well written though not as addicting as HBO's other dramas like Sopranos or Oz. The plotlines are interesting but don't really cause/warrant as much discussion or predictions as the other two shows. The narrator in Fight Club is the man we will be, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is the man we want to be Eliza Dushku- Hotter Than Britney

NO heterosexual guy I know admits to not minding, much less, enjoying, those type of scenes. And that will never happen. (Uuuuhh-BUTTPLUG?) Ikea, I am completely enjoying this show. I actually think it is better written than Sopranos or Oz, though Sopranos remains my favorite. I just find the subtleties and realities of this show, mixed with with the fantasies / hallucinations in such a smooth way, and the absolutely fascinating characters, equals the best writing and storylines I've seen in a TV series. Not to mention the theme itself- a very brave and original one to tackle. I will miss it until it returns. "I am so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month. O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | To the top for tonight's 2 hour Season finale(s), I agree Claire this show probably is the more realistic than Sopranos or Oz and the characters really are involving. Another thing I like about the show is that it did experiment with different aspects since the first episode to now. The commercials (which I did love), the dead father coming back to give advice of sorts. And for some reason the dropping of these made sense but for some unique reason just having them for a short bit and then dropping them helped the show. The narrator in Fight Club is the man we will be, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is the man we want to be Eliza Dushku- Hotter Than Brittny

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I thought the finale was perfect! It was the first time in a long time that a show was able to tie up all of its loose ends in a storyline (except for the ones that were introduced in the episode). The sister was great, the mom finally became a person outside of mom, and the brother finally saw himself as a gay person. Every episode had something interesting, creative, and funny all while not forgetting a single character. The Sopranos writers should be taking notes. quote: I liked the commercials to in the first one. I think what happened was that there weere only so many funeral products they could use and didn't want to rely on that if the show took off for 50 episodes. I also like the father and wished he was in it more. But I guess it was better served for them to be envisioning other dead people too. It wouldn't have worked if the brother was seeing his father when questioning his sexuality, but the gay kid and homphobic kid did well. I think his ascending the "stairway to Heaven" at the end of the show could mean that he's totally gone. One final note: I hope that if the show really takes off that they'll be able to get celebrities to start playing the people who die in the beginning of every episode. It would be cool to tune in and just see Woody Harrelson get hit by a bus and have Rico have to bring his wrecked body back to presentability.

And, maybe it's just me, but I think Rico is a great character.
