| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | the only trailer i've seen for ai is about creating the first robot that can love, and i'm with magus, d.a.r.y.l. immediately popped into my head. anyway, definitely wanna see lord of the rings, god i hope they don't fuck that up, could rooon all my childhood dreams. and i guess it doesn't count cos it already came out, but i really wanna see evolution. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Dec. 00 | Hey Kid, I must have seen an old trailer then cuz it was playing up how a mommy losing her son, finding AI and loves her new son even though hes not real. I haven't seen the new ones. That's why I think it's a chick flick sci-fi. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | LOTR, Planet of the APes, SPIDERMAN, Jay and Silent Bob, Episode 2, Apocalypse Now Redux. I too saw the American Pie II trailer and laughed enough to want to see it. As for AI I don't think it's a chick flick at all. It was originally a Kubrick movie but he died and Spielberg took over so it will be more audience friendly than if Stan had done it but I have hopes. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Ikea hit it right on the head as far as AI goes...Stanley Kubrick being mentioned with this is reason enough Planet of the Apes...did it really need to be re-made? I think not, therefore I, and I'm guessing many others, will not be attending. Tomb Raider and final fantasy can lick my nuts...less we forget the other video games into movies Super Mario Bros and Street Fighter? as for the matrix...well I can only handle so much of Keanu Reaves "uhh...it's a computer dude!" The only thing that I have yet to cover is the obligatory Jim Carrey and teen horror pieace of shit. Needless to say I am so looking forware to having to see another (ugh!) MTV Jim Carrey special ad nauseum. I am so waiting with clenched buttocks for your arrival.  You're not gonna take my hair and plant an evil Dewey are you? | ||||

But for those looking forward to APII (like me who thought the trailer was hysterical), the reviews say "funny."
