| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Does the newer version allow to retrieve your buddy list? I know the older version didn't, you had to have the list saved. Just in case, you can save your buddy list to a floppy or what not and transfer it over to the new one. AIM has an option for saving the list, and it isn't a big file. Now two, TWO! spots open! | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Top of the line PC, Roger! Hope you loaded it up! To answer your question regarding your buddy list, it is stored locally on your hard drive. If you use it on two different computers, your buddy list must be saved and loaded on the other machine. ICQ is the same way. Yahoo Messenger, on the other hand, does not work the same way, your Friend's list is the same no matter where you log on.
