Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Wasn't Romero supposed to be doing the film version of The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King, too?

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I'm a huge King fan. Tom Gordon was a sweet little book (as a hardcore fan, the story was nice, but the writing was the best part). I liked that one. I don't like movies being made of his books though cuz they generally fucking suck. Except Maximum Overdrive and Shining and the like of course. Think Romero could do a mostly thoughts-book justice? Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Yeah, I think King is the man, too. I think Hopkins will be awesome in Hearts in Atlantis. Don't know how Romero will handle Tom Gordon (go Sawx! NOT!), but he is familar with King's stuff, I think he did Creepshow and Cat's Eye, then again...maybe not.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I'm not familiar with Romero's stuff just by his name. King's screenplays are great, but when his books try to get interpreted, its usually bad. "One girl, I drove through three states wearing her head as a hat." ~ Garland 'The Marietta Mangler' Greene

O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | I read it earlier today and was excited. I hope this doesn't suck. I'm shocked (SHOCKED!) this man can't get the budget he wants. It's not a huge budget at all and this man is a pioneer of horror films and films in general! Anyway, I also read that Mad Max 4 is being storyboarded and written as we speak. The narrator in Fight Club is the man we will be, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is the man we want to be Eliza Dushku- Hotter Than Britney

Wonder if they'll keep the reference to the Dark Tower series. "I don't read books, but I have friends who do." -Presidential Candidate George W.
