| O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01  | Well, after getting home and getting out of my truck and almost falling down, let me say that my knee hurst, and I think I broke my foot, but the alcohol took care of that for me. It was a great day, and of course the better team came out on top. BM, you do run real runny. Froy, you arent that lazy, dont worry. Moron, great pitching, you looked like randy johnson out there, but I dont think the big unit smokes when he pitches. GW, I have Brian Cashman's phone number, you might want to give him a call soon. Straw, I so do not have small ankles. Doc, good shot btw. Thanks to the ladies for cooking and of course awesome effort salad tossers, Defending OA.com champions. Ladies...what can I say, a ray of sunshine on a otherwise overcast/rainy day. Thanks for all who did the dirty work of handling the BBQ duties and contibuting food/drink. The food was AWESOME I guess payback is a BITCH. I started out the day with a strained back muscle (it's been bothering me for quite some time). I pretty much have raspberries on BOTH shoulders from diving for balls hit by JoeyBigArms at 1st base. I missed the first one, and was hoping to bait you into hitting it to me again (which you did). It was a foot race to the bag and I had to dive or Joey would have laid me out with his MASSIVE arms. As I doing this I jammed the 2nd and 3rd joint in my right pinky. FINALLY while I was coaching 3rd base, I was waving one of our runners home (think it was FN Moron). As I checked to see what the left fielder was doing with the ball (WAGE), I wound up being HIT , by the thrown ball which glanced off my left elbow and then nailed me in the ribs. I am so glad I didn't let out a bloodcurdling GIRLY scream :) - it's OK bro, I KNOW you weren't trying to hit me. I need to go to my gym and soak in the whirlpool for awhile. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01 | Well as always an interesting experience. I had a blast. Saw a lot of old faces there but met a lot of new ones. I turned out the be a crispy critter when I got home but it was worth it. It was great seeing everyone. Claire, Danked, WierdNJ, and Balloon Not it was fun hanging out with you. But on the lighter side, it was cool meeting those who I actually met. I would have introduced myself, but A)It's kinda odd introducing yourself as your screen name and B) I'm kinda shy. To our Grumpire good job even though you hosed us on a few plays. To Gonzo and Buttmunch, thanks for keepin this whole thing alive. To those who I met: Raven, Balloon Not, Opie696, Froy, Flock and Mrs. Moosen, Tequila, Gagootz, Joey Big Arms, NJStraw, FMB, Doc Smith, Sephiroth, Zootybang, etc. It was really a great plaesure meeting all of you. To those of you I didnt meet: Sorry, like I said I can be shy especially in new environments. There will always be other functions where we can finally meet. Oh and that whole "JBN never touched the bag" play, I could have been a REAL dick about that, but since you all were such cool people I really couldn't bring myself to make new enemies. Especially when one of my enemies could very well have been King Shit himself. Well thats enough from me for now. There were several of you who continued to play even though you were injured or in pain. Opie696 kept going until he couldn't even stand, Teq got hit in the face and just kept on going, Mashed had several injuries and didn't even flinch, Mrs. Moosen was all cut up on her knees and there were many others like that. I really applaud you all. You are tough cookies and I am glad to have all of you as my extended family. Except, for Buttmunch of course.
