| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00  | Hey Gang. Well, I'm gonna give my humble apologies for losing my fucking mind recently. And no, it's not the quitting smoking that's causing it. That's too easy to blame. I'm an asshole I say shit that goes over the line when it's not necessary. However, I'm willin to take my punishemt for my actions. Which begins my rant. The Blame game. Now, as we have noticed, people have blamed many of their problems to many things and reasons. Take a look at Harris and Klebold. They blamed their School Shooting and attempt to bomb the school, by saying they were picked on. Well, I hat to say it, but that's how the pecking order is established. I was picked on, but I didn't try to shoot up a school, not because of a fear of the Authorities, but I was more afraid of being called a coward for doing so by my family and friends. So, I prefer taking out my anger on the source of my problems, mostly after school in some lot somewhere. I fought alot. It's like people Blame smoking for thier health problems, of cousre Cigarettes are gonna kill ya, what did you expect, they'll extend your life? Hell no! Tobacco is our self destrcut button so we don't look embarrassing when we get older. Remember, Death is eventual, we can't escape it. That's why we choose to use tobacco. Now McVeigh is another type of person who used the blame game. He blamed a corrupt government for blowing up the building in Oklahoma, killing 168 people, including children. Good I can blame him for killing his family and blame them for having him born. There's my excuse if I kill them. The same goes for Bin Laden, or whatever that camel jockey's name is. He blames America, so he can blow us up, and kill our fellow americans. Go figure. Does that mean I can shoot any of his terrorist network members because he's the blame? Anyone remember the lady that spilled coffee on her? That is the most fucked up I've heard. She blames McDonalds for hot coffee. Stupid Twat, it wouldn't burn you if it was cold! You weren't supposed to put it between your legs so blame yourself for spilling it on yourself! Good thing she lost the suit. But the biggest question that bugs me is who do we blame for the recent events of stupidity, like school shootings, suing for no apparent reason, and really fucked up kids and people? That's a tough one. Blame flies faster than a fleet of SR-71 Blackbirds when it comes to using the blame game. Some say Violence on TV, some say Bad parenting, some say, other people. In all honesty, Blame ourselves. I have no clue why we're fucked up. I have a suggestion, if you stop blaming other people and things for fucked up events and figure out that you fucked up, it would make life alot easier. I don't like to admit my mistakes, but it sure does lift alot of guilt off of me when I do. at least I know. I don't mean to sound like some righteous tool, I'm just pointing something out. There will always be blame so I just deal with it, even though it annoys me quite a bit at times, as well. But great post. You basically put all my jumbled thoughts into words as well as your own. | Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | To take this in a slightly different direction, the recent drowning of the little boy in Tommy Lee's pool... If your 4-year-old son (who needs swimmies) is invited to a pool party, wouldn't you stay to help supervise? I know I sure as hell would. I don't see how the father can blame Tommy Lee for not having proper supervision. But that's just my opinion.  | ||||
