Saw it last night. Incredibly stupid movie, but hysterical nonetheless. Anyone else see it?

a bunch of us saw it yesterday before we started out fourth of july bbq celebrations. some parts were hysterical, but other parts were very dumb and not funny at all. but it was only about an hour and half, so i do recommend it. The parts that were funny were absolutely hysterical, and made up for the non-funny parts.

Exactly. The beginning part was one of the funniest parts of the movie. The theater was laughing hysterically and like Anthony has said on many occasions, all the black at the theater were yelling at the screen for much of the movie. The movie makes references to the Exorcist, What Lies Beneath, Mission Impossible 2, The Haunting, Hannibal, Wizard of Oz, Charlies Angels, Weakest Link and some others.

exactly. you need no brain cells to see this movie at all. as a matter of fact, it would be great if you were drunk or high

If you are smoking lots of pot or totally drunk for this movie, you would think it was the best movie ever made.

The best way to see movies is drunk or high. I saw waynes world in the theatre in college all f'd up, and it was the funniest movie I have seen in a while, besides a few of the police academy movies (the early ones with Mahoney, of course)

Is it more worth it to see it for the full $8.50 because I prefer paying the really cheap prices but like 11:30 showings? Also how was the J&SBSB trailer since the internet previews rock, especially the PTA anderson crack?

I saw it for free, my wife gets free movie tickets for being a Sony Visa card member.

I hated Dogma, but to be perfectly honest, Jay and Silent Bob preview looks really funny. And American Pie 2 looks to be hysterical. Jason Biggs uses Crazy Glue instead of lotion to jerk off.

i thought the fight scene between her and the cat was absolutely fucking hysterical. the ending was funny too, what with the reference to the first movie. and for some reason the mad cow joke had my laughing my ass off more than i should have. the silent bob preview was pretty good too. funny shit, especially when the director tells jay and silent bob to just stand there and not talk, especially bob. and ben affleck saying, "aw they will probably just get ben affleck and matt damon to star in it, they star in anything" it looks like a good movie and even had my gf wanting to see it. thats impressive i think:)

Chris Elliot was just classic.
That girl (forgot her name w/ the small titties) was nice.

Here is a tip if you want to save money on movie tickets. Order your tickets online or via the credit card ticket machine. Pick either child or senior and you just saved your self at least 3 bucks. The ticket taker really won't care if you have that type of ticket. Just don't say a word. :)

I caught the 11:45 showing since I like late showings and just got back and honestly- I thought it was better than the first but I haven't seen the first in awhile.

First the trailers- Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back rule, see the internet trailers though full of cursing and more plot, and the audience loved it. American Pie 2 also got a very great reaction.

As for the movie. The Exorcist parody was probably liked the most which is great since James Woods and Andy Richter were great. I also liked the Amityville Horror refernece which I don't think a lot of people got. The rest of the movie was pretty funny though from the trailers I thought it was going to be crap. It's great seeing David Cross in what's going to be a popular movie since he's on the list of people who I think deserve more acclaim, can't wait for Mr. Show: RUn Ronnie Run. Same with Tim Curry and Chris Elliot. Pretty good references (you can tell those in the theater who get the Empire one), pretty funny, the not Tori SPelling, not black, not star of first one chick was HOT though I do go for the lead chick. I also thought that less jokes bombed in this one than in the first one though I would though they did hardly any (I'm not sure if it would count) Shining References which surprised me since The Shining is probably the most favorite Haunted House movie ever (Challenge me, I dare you). I definitely recommend it though it's not as good as Don't Be A MEnace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.

And does anyone else realize that they've remade It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World in Rat Race?
