IT IS NOT JUST A SLACKER THING The reason I say this is because there seems to be a misconception that this is a private party. Anyone who would like to come down to the shore is more than welcome. First person who says "you can't go" or "you're not one allowed" WILL, I repeat WILL get shit from me and a few other people. #2 - sychochik- The reason for my "RUDENESS" is two fold. First off, you've been asked by others in several other threads to keep you typing in control. Second - you obviously don't know me. My intention wasn't to be rude, although yes it did come out that way. My intention was to state MY GAHHHHDDDAAAMMMMNNN FRUSTRATION AT YOUR POSTS. Don't Read them? I don't. And I'm probably sure that all of people don't because they don't want to bother. What happens then? Well, you type all to yourself without your comments or posts being read by anyone else. We started this party as a birthday party for DW, Spit, and Ron. And it turned into a slacker thing. Since all three of those people are slackers. We never meant for it to be a private party. In fact, there are several members coming that never posted in the slacker thread. And.....they are bringing non-board members with them. This is just yet another Un-Official board party. It appears that something called prior commitments have gotten in the way of my attempt to have a "life" (face mentioned something about it once, not sure what it is though). I have always been liked by most and respected before and after i was a mod. Because i always listen to reason and i always and i mean always only say something i can prove and back up. Now i didnt assume it was closed off cause it was called a "slacker party" I only posted what i knew and what people wanted to say but didnt wanna either cause they didnt wanna cause problems or they are spineless whatever. But i heard from several people and spoke with others personally. Quite a few people were upset that this was opened up to everyone and they bitched "why is she comin, why is he comin." now dont ask me to say who because i am done with the bullshit and the tension. This place is meant to be where we unwind from our daily tension in our own lives not where we go to get more more wound up man. I always said when this place is no longer fun anymore means it is time to go. But i am not goin anywhere so dont start celebrating my departure yet. But i had to state i saw dissention and people breaking off or trying to create cliques becaue i have been here a long time and i seen it happen. None of this is news we seen all this just like we seen the walking hard ons and gropers at the parties nothing new. But every once in a while you MUST remind people who either were not here or forget. otherwise no one says nothing and it goes on and people think it is ok. I hope you guys have a good time and have fun thats the whole fuckin point. I give my all and i give everything till i have no more to give to make sure you guys always have fun i never ask for credit or state what i did for attention i just do it as do many others here. We dont want your thanks we dont want attention or credit but we are just unselfsih and we do it all for eachother cause we are family here man. to quote the greatest rock band of all times and my favorite band. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | GS, it's a shame that these people read too much between the lines here. The clique joke started at the softball game and we have had fun with it. Anybody that thought we are some elite private group, doesn't know us and isn't hanging and posting during their workday. Are we a clique? Well yeah. A clique in the sense that a number of people with common ground that communicate with each other on a regular basis decided it would be nice to get together, hang and enjoy each others company beyond the virtual world. A separate thread was started to invite anyone that wanted to attend because of the fact that not everyone posts in the slacker thread. Everyone is welcome to post like any other thread, but some don't for whatever reason. For the record, "Slackfest 01" took place, it was an enjoyable time and for those that think it was elitist, everyone that attended with the exception of one person, has attended numerous other board related events. There was commentary stated by one of the slackers that easily could have been mis-interpreted about who was coming and who shouldn't come. That persons reasons were well intended and not meant to exclude anybody. We bitch slapped that person to show them the errors of their actions and will continue to harass them appropriately. So please, everybody that incorrectly read between the lines, get over this and mark your calendars now for "Slackfest 02" sometime next July, and please drop in to the Slacker thread any time :-) o&aswallow Recognized His Destiny Early.
