| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01  | I am thinking about purchasing a playstation 2. I just was wondering, can you use the old controllers, memory cards, games, ETC from the Playstation 1? Is the DVD movies that play on this system as good as a regular DVD player and do you need any other assories for the DVD player? Also, Do you think it is worth the money? You can have to use the ps1 memory cards to save ps1 games and you have to use a ps2 memory card to save ps2 games. you can't mix them. the ps2 dvd player is just as good as any other one. for more convience you should buy a remote control ($10) but you can play a movie with the ps2 controller.
