| Psychopath Registered: May. 00  | i downloaded the new detonator4 drivers from nvidia.com and they are amazing. i went from 40-80fps in Tribes to 100-200fps... if you don't already have them, go download them NOW!!! | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Besides increasing the benchmark, do they REALLY make a difference? The human eye can't tell the difference between 50 and 100 fps. I'm just wondering if you noticed a difference in actual gameplay? Don't get me wrong, I still plan on downloading them. DasDoomper  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Are they any good for anyone who uses a card OTHER than a GF3? I have a Hercules GF2MX card and its been a while since I've moved to newer drivers - would love to get some higher fps as well as better gameplay, but if its a minimal jump for non GF3 users, I'd rather leave well enough alone. Also, is there a way to install them without using Nvidia's .EXE route? JackDan1974 is taking classes in board behavior - please forward all problems/complaints you might have of him to my attention. | Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | According to beta testing that www.Anandtech.com did on the Det 4 drivers the newer the card the better performance. GeForce3 getting the best increase then the Geforce2 Ultra then Geforce2 Pro then down the line. Try them and see. I have them but haven't took them out for a test drive yet. | ||||
