| Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 01  | I came across this tip and it really works for me it comes from the speedguide.net guys BEFORE YOU DO THIS I SUGGEST BACKING UP YOUR REGISTRY!! goto start menu,run then type regedit Hkey_Local Machine\system\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\P MSTCP Once in there look for string DefaultRcvWindow the value should be 373360 if so then change to 64240, however I put 9999999 and my downloads are blazing. I have not been able to test on dslreports yet because its jammed now for some reason. Good Luck  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I posted a major thread about this a month ago in OT. Speedguide.net has patches that edits your registry for you. I think this is better, because screwing up a line in your Registry can SERIOUSLY fuck up windows. Search my old posts or in OT for the thread. This is a great thing though.
