Their stock changes regularly so check in often. O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | I have a Hewlett Packard laptop notebook up here with me at school. It's not too bad, does its job fairly well, not very heavy if/when I need to carry it around (to take it home and stuff). But it has been going a little freaky recently, shutting down on its own, cd drive acting strange. One suggestion with the Dell or whichever one you get, make sure you figure out the thing's temp control settings. If it's anything like mine, it shuts off it the bottom gets too hot - for instance, using it on your bed on a heavy blanket or something to that effect. The comp needs to breathe a little, something I learned after having one too many NHL 2002 games shut down in the middle of a period. darthziggy@opieanthony.com Currently a student at Franklin Pierce College. O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01 | I have a Dell Inspiron 5000. I got it for free about a year and a half ago, it runs great, but I need a bigger hard drive. I made sure to get it loaded with a DVD drive & the extended screen. Trust me, spend the money to get the larger screen, you'll appreciate it later on. I believe in the Faith... that can save me. O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I just picked up my laptop from UPS. I guess it will take awhile to get used to the keyboard, it's not what I'm used to. I went with the 15" sceen, it looks just as big as my 19" moniter on my pc. I even set up a wireless network at home, no more sore ass from sitting in a chair all day. Thank you to everyone that gave me some constructive input. | ||||
