Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	ok, i need info on Dreamcast. Can games be successfully copied? i was offered games for a great price but i want to know if they are worth buying or will they fuck up my machine. if you have ever bought copied games or now anything about the whole topic, please post all info. Why don't you go play hide and go FUCK YOURSELF!!!

Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 00	well copin games for the dreamcast is not as eay as just makin a copy of the dc game u rent from blockbuster like u can for psx games.. it can be done if u find someone who knows how to rip them.. buyin games i wouldnt recomended it i mean its illegal its not a backup copy and u never know what u r gettin i doubt they would screw up your machine but u never know anyway happy gamin

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	I've aquired (hypothetical) burnt DC games, they work just fine, I have an original Dreamcast, they say the newer ones require a boot cd to play the burnt games, the boot cd can be downloaded for free on different sites. but all my (hypothetical) burnt games play great.

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	I've seen self-bootable burns for Dreamcast. They work really well.

Find an image online and burn it. you cant make images yourself because the DC uses GD-rom, and there are a few people out there who have managed to either make a cable/software that outputs the data from the serial port, or acquired a GD-rom developer drive. Furthermore using DC burns cant fuck up your shit, and some images need a boot disc, its not a new v. old DC thing.. the New DCs do not play rips AT ALL from what I hear.. they will not read CD-Rs (it is reported)
