O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	I've had a 3DFX Monster II board in my rig for almost 2 years now. (I know its basically useless, but I always liked having the option of playing one of my old Glide games). Anyway, make a long story short, I was playing with my resloution, and when I went to get into the screen properties section, I got an error message stating that my board was gone! I did a little hunting in the device manager, checked the system log, and theres nothing there, nor any trace that it ever was. Now I know it was there (I took it out tonight, uninstalled the voodoo drivers and cleaned out the regisrty keys as well) but I find it odd that the machine just decided to stop recognizing it! It was well seated, etc., and I basically troubleshot anything I could think of before I took it out. It's no big loss, but it concerns me that hardware can just "disappear" like that. Anyone have any thoughts as to what might have triggered/caused this? "I'm learning all about my life....by looking through her eyes...." Feel free to drop me a line, and have a nice day!
