| Hanger-On Registered: Jul. 01  | HI, I was reading on the board about how I can download full version PC games using IRC. Can someone please help me w/ this? If it helps, I have AOL 6.0 and a cable modem. I have no clue how IRC works, please reply w/ info about it and how I can get games off of it. I'm 17 and sick of paying $50 for a game. | Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01 | I personally use mIRC for my IRC uses. Here's what i do: There are several types of servers (USDAL net, USEF net, and USIRC net for some). My favorite is the USDAL net servers, so I'll use that as a example. Connect to any USDAL net. Use the "Get List" option. This will get the full list of rooms. As there are about 8000+ rooms, it will take about 10-20 minutes When it is done, look for a room that is giving out what you are looking for. Movies, Porn, MP3's, Appz and Warez, it's all there. Once in the room type "!list". This will bring up a list of what everyone is trading. Look at their "Trigger" words. Typing this word will make them send you a request to establish a connection. Once you accept, a new window will pop up. From there, follow the directions, type the correct trigger words, and download to your hearts content. Hope that helps.  | ||||
