| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I'm planning to buy a PS2 finally because I can't wait any longer, but I want to decide what games I should start out with to play. I don't know if Metal Gear solid: Sons of liberty is coming out this year but that's the game I'm drooling in anticipation of. Also, I'm really looking forward to the next wwf smackdown game. | Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | Twisted Metal Black is one of my new favorites. I never played any of the other ones but this one is great. I thought Grand Terismo A-Spec was pretty good. Dark Cloud is a good psudoRPG. Zone of the Enders is fuckin great. As for games coming out later, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, Devil May Cry (I think, it might be delayed), and some other decent games are coming out later this summer if you wanna wait. And yeah MGS2 will DEFINATLY be worth the wait.  I had a great sigpic once, now its just a small red x in a box "Gimmy the bat, faggit" "I AM ZEROMUS. I AM THE HATRED!" | Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | I'm pretty sure you cant. But I know you can hook up you GameBoy Advance to it and play GBA games on. You can also use the GBA as a contoller for the Game Cube. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jun. 01 | To check my feelings, check out the rant I started a little down the board... Sephiroth, as one FF fanatic to the other... The wait will be hard, but it'll be worth it, the new english trailer is on ign.com. Go check it out if you haven't seen it yet. Basically... it breaks down for me as follows for the games that IN MY OPINION will be the best for PS2 for Fall/Winter 2001/2002. 1. Final Fantasy X (Early 2002) 2. Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty (November 11th simultanous Jap/US release) 3. Silent Hill 2 (Early October) 4. Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 2 (Septemeber 8th) I'm an amatuer game designer who's still in college, but hopefully I'll accomplish my dream of working for Square Japan. I don't know if they're using Grade A voice talent (like people who have voiced anime characters) but it just seems like voices in an FF game could either be a welcome addition, or a curse.
