| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jun. 01 | You know I'm a FF fanatic however... I don't know what to think yet. I always hope the best for my Final Fantasy's. However, all the multi-rpgs have been steaming piles of shit. UO, Everquest, PSO, all could have been a lot better and more involving. I also don't know if the same team behind the other FF's are behind this. If so, we can have most likely, an amazing ffin game. My attention has mainly been diverted towards FFX, so FFXI has been on the back burner. I'll do some recon and get back on this topic. I want to see it succeed more than anyone, so lets keep our fingers crossed. Somewhere in there also mentions the multi-platform release, the possibility of the early FF's released on GBA, Final Fantasy XII (not online, gunna be fantasy-ish like FF9), and the special redone and inhanced FF7, FF8, and FF9 box set for PS2. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jun. 01 | I still think they should call it Final Fantasy Online or something along those lines... I don't want it to tarnish the good name of FF if it sucks ass. And believe me, I want it to succeed... but DAMN am I worried. (pops in Aeris' Theme orchestrated) I wonder if Nobuo Uematsu will be doing the music... I sure hope so. It seems like another team is working on it since its supposed to come out not to far into the future after FFX... I don't know, we'll see. Edit- Oh yeah... CHOCOBOS... MORE CHOCOBOS... ahahahahahahahahaha. Chocobos, always a plus. I refuse to get it if it is gonna be like EverCrack...er...Everclear. :) I finally got away from Quake3, the last thing i need is another online game draining all my money and time. | Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | Seph, I dont think that FF XI is gunna be an ongoing game like Everheroin. From what Ive gathered from my sources, its going to be like PSO. In other words, FF 11 has one story, with a begining and an ending. The online part is used to do other stuff such as teaming up with other people, make or custimize weapons and stuff, fighting against other people. It should be like a regular RPG just with extra featurs. As pissed as i was at first when i heard it was online, Im starting to feel better about it.
